Profile & clinic details

Complete your veterinary profile and clinic information so sale administrators can verify your credentials and contact you.

Navigate to your profile settings and enter your full name, professional title, and veterinary qualifications.
Add your clinic or practice name, address, and primary contact phone number.
Upload a profile photo (optional but recommended) to help sale administrators identify you.
Configure your notification preferences for email, SMS, or WhatsApp alerts when submissions are processed.
Review and save your profile to ensure all details are accurate before requesting sale access.

X-ray protocols

Understand the imaging protocols required for each sale and configure your DICOM equipment to match the expected views and naming conventions.

Review the X-ray protocol requirements for the sales you plan to submit to (e.g. Yearlings, Breeze Up, HKJC protocols).
Check the required number of views for each anatomical region (fetlocks, carpi, hocks, stifles, feet, cervical spine).
Configure your DICOM workstation or DR system to use consistent naming conventions that match ThoroughRepository's expected formats.
Set up DICOM templates on your equipment to streamline image capture and ensure all required views are captured consistently.
Familiarise yourself with the maximum days before sale that X-rays must be taken (as specified in the Conditions of Sale).

X-Ray Protocols Overview

Request sale access

Request access to specific sales so you can submit imaging data and view repository information for horses in that sale.

Not started

Navigate to the Sales section and browse upcoming sales that you need access to.
Click "Request Access" for each sale you plan to submit data to or view repository information.
Accept the Terms & Conditions and any client declaration requirements for the sale.
Wait for the sale administrator to approve your access request (you'll receive a notification when approved).
Once approved, confirm you can see the sale catalogue and horse listings in your dashboard.

Requesting Sale Access

Upload & submit data

Upload X-rays, endoscopy videos, ultrasound images, and PDF reports to horses in the sale catalogue and submit for review.

Navigate to the sale and locate the horse you need to submit data for using the lot number or horse name.
Select the study type you're uploading (X-rays, Endoscopy, Ultrasound, or PDF Report).
Drag and drop your DICOM files or folders, or use the file browser to select images for upload.
Review the auto-classification of images and correct any view labels if needed before submitting.
Confirm all required views are present and meet the protocol requirements for the sale.
Click "Submit" to send your data for review by the sale administrator.
Monitor your submission status and respond to any feedback if corrections are required.

View repository data

Access and review submitted X-rays, scopes, and reports for horses in sales you have access to using the DICOM viewer.

Navigate to the sale catalogue and select a horse to view its repository data.
Complete any required client declarations before accessing X-rays or reports (if configured by the sale).
Use the DICOM viewer to review X-ray images with full diagnostic tools (zoom, pan, window/level, measurements).
View endoscopy videos, ultrasound images, and any attached PDF reports for the horse.
Check submission timestamps to confirm when data was uploaded and by which clinic.
Use the comparison tools to view multiple horses or studies side-by-side if needed.
