System Requirements
The DICOM format is the only format accepted for X-ray files uploaded.
For scope videos, every video uploaded must be readable by the VLC software.
In the case of veterinary certificates, PDF format is the only one accepted.
ThoroughRepository is accessible for both Windows and Mac users.
An Internet connection of 1.5 Mbit/s (download) and 512 Kbit/s (upload) is recommended to upload and consult studies online. -
View Recognition
ThoroughPacs software utilises an automatic category recognition system that relies on the DICOM tags of each X-ray file.
For each image, the DICOM tag must indicate the name of the joint, the side (left/right), and the specific image name.A recommended list of DICOM tags for each image can be found in the veterinary protocol document for each sale, as well as in your ThoroughPacs portal.
Due to inconsistencies in settings and/or labelling, the software might fail to recognise some or all of the submitted images.
In such cases, it will be necessary for the veterinary surgeon to manually allocate a category to each unrecognised image.
If certain images consistently go unrecognised by the software, it is advisable for the veterinary surgeon to contact ThoroughPacs for assistance in identifying and resolving the issue. -
